About This Game
The Addams Family: Fester's Quest is an action-adventure game based on the popular TV series and movie franchise. Players control Fester Addams as he explores the Addams mansion and surrounding areas to save his family from alien invaders.
Story
The game begins with aliens landing near the Addams Family mansion and kidnapping family members. Fester Addams must rescue his family by exploring the mansion and town, fighting off aliens and solving puzzles along the way.
Guide & Tips
The game follows a non-linear exploration style. Start by exploring the mansion to find weapons and items. Use the ray gun to defeat aliens. Collect keys to unlock new areas. Talk to other family members for hints. Power-ups can be found throughout the game to increase your health and weapon power.
Controls
Directional Pad: Move character. A Button: Jump/Select. B Button: Shoot/Action. Start: Pause game/Menu.
Cheats & Passwords
At the title screen, press Up, Down, Left, Right, A, B, A, B, Start to enable the cheat menu. This allows you to start with full health and all weapons.
Trivia
The game features voice samples from the original TV show actors, including John Astin as Gomez Addams. It was developed by Japanese company Ocean Software, despite being based on an American property. The game is known for its high difficulty level, especially in later levels.
