About This Game
A Simplified Chinese translation (by 神游) of the Game Boy Advance port of Super Mario Bros. 2 (the US version). The game retains the original side‑scrolling platforming gameplay where players control Mario, Luigi, Toad, or Princess Peach to defeat the evil Wart and save the dream world of Subcon.
Story
While sleeping, Mario dreams of a strange land called Subcon, where the evil tyrant Wart has seized power and kidnapped the Princess. To restore peace, Mario (and his friends) must venture through the dream world, defeat Wart’s minions, and ultimately confront Wart himself to free the Princess and awaken from the dream.
Guide & Tips
Start by selecting a character; each has unique abilities (Luigi jumps higher, Toad is strongest, Peach can float). Collect coins and vegetables to throw at enemies. Reach the end of each level, defeat the boss, and collect the hidden warp zones to unlock shortcuts. Pay attention to the timer and try to collect all hidden 1‑UP mushrooms for extra lives.
Controls
D-Pad: Move left/right, crouch, look up/down; A Button: Jump; B Button: Run / Throw; Start: Pause; Select: Switch character (if applicable) or open map.
Trivia
The US version of Super Mario Bros. 2 is actually a reskin of the Japanese game Doki Doki Panic, which explains its unique mechanics like picking up and throwing objects. The GBA port includes a save feature absent from the original NES release.
