Story

The story follows Lan Hikari and his NetNavi MegaMan.EXE as they investigate a mysterious WWW organization plot involving a powerful program called 'The Gospel'. Players must navigate through both the real world and the digital network to stop this threat.

Players navigate through real world and cyberspace, collecting battle chips and fighting viruses. The game features a turn-based battle system where players can combine chips for stronger attacks. Progress through the story by defeating bosses and solving puzzles.

Controls

Directional Pad for movement, A button for actions/selection, B button for cancel/menu, L/R buttons for chip folder navigation, Start button for menu, Select button for chip swapping.

Cheats & Passwords

At the title screen, press Up, Down, Left, Right, B, A, Start to unlock all Battle Chips. To get the Giga Chip folder, press Select, Select, L, R, B, A at the main menu.

Trivia

This version includes exclusive content not found in the Red Version, such as the Gospel chip and special boss fights. The game was later remade for the GameCube as Mega Man Battle Network 6, though with significant changes to the story and gameplay.
