About This Game
Summon Night: Swordcraft Story is an action‑RPG for the Game Boy Advance where players take on the role of a young swordsmith apprentice, forging weapons with the help of summoned spirits while battling monsters and uncovering the mystery behind a looming threat to the kingdom.
Story
You are a young apprentice living in the town of Wyndaria, studying under the legendary swordsmith Gideon. When an ancient evil begins to stir and threatens to engulf the kingdom, the king summons Gideon’s aid. Together, you must forge legendary weapons by binding powerful spirits to steel, rescue captured friends, and defeat the dark forces before they unleash their full power upon the land.
Guide & Tips
Begin by completing the tutorial in the village to learn basic movement, attacking, and spirit summoning. Gather raw materials (iron, wood, crystal) from fields and dungeons. Visit the forge to combine materials with a summoned spirit to create or upgrade weapons. Each weapon has a unique spirit affinity that affects its power and special abilities. Accept quests from townsfolk to earn rare components and story progression. Defeat boss monsters at the end of each chapter to unlock new forging recipes and advance the plot. Manage your inventory, upgrade your spirit partners, and save frequently at the village inn.

D‑Pad: Move / Navigate menus; A Button: Confirm / Attack; B Button: Cancel / Jump; L Button: Switch equipped spirit; R Button: Open inventory / Skill menu; Start: Pause; Select: Show map.
Trivia
This game is the first entry of the Summon Night series to appear on the Game Boy Advance. It introduced a unique weapon‑forging system that combines RPG crafting with spirit summoning, a mechanic later expanded in its sequel, Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 2.
