About This Game

Pokémon Emerald is an enhanced version of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire for the Game Boy Advance, set in the Hoenn region. It features both Team Aqua and Team Magma storylines, the Battle Frontier, and the ability to capture the legendary Pokémon Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza.

Story

You are a young Pokémon Trainer who has just moved to Littleroot Town in the Hoenn region. After receiving your first Pokémon from Professor Birch, you set out on a journey to become the Pokémon Champion. Along the way, you encounter the antagonistic teams Aqua and Magma, whose schemes to control the legendary Pokémon Kyogre and Groudon threaten the region’s balance. By awakening Rayquaza, you restore peace and ultimately challenge the Elite Four and the Champion.

Guide & Tips

Begin in Littleroot Town, choose your starter (Treecko, Torchic, or Mudkip) from Professor Birch. Follow the main story: defeat the eight Hoenn Gym Leaders, thwart Team Aqua and Team Magma’s plans, capture or defeat the legendary Kyogre/Groudon, then awaken Rayquaza to stop their battle. After becoming Champion, explore the Battle Frontier for post‑game challenges.
