About This Game

Pokémon Ruby is the third generation Pokémon RPG for the Game Boy Advance, featuring the Hoenn region, new Pokémon, and dual-slot battles.

Story

Set in the Hoenn region, you embark on a journey as a Pokémon Trainer, challenging gyms, thwarting Team Magma's plans, and ultimately confronting the legendary Pokémon Groudon to protect the world.

Guide & Tips

1. Choose your starter (Treecko, Torchic, or Mudkip) at the beginning. 2. Defeat Team Magma in Rustboro City and later in the Victory Road. 3. Capture the legendary Pokémon Groudon at the end of the game. 4. Complete the Hoenn Pokédex by trading with Sapphire or Emerald. 5. Trivia

Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire were the first titles to feature a real‑time clock affecting in‑game events. The game also introduced Double Battles, a new type matchup chart, and the Pokémon Contests. The legendary Pokémon Groudon is exclusive to Ruby; its counterpart Kyogre appears in Sapphire.
