About This Game
Golden Sun – The Lost Age is the sequel to the acclaimed RPG Golden Sun, released for the Game Boy Color. Players continue the adventure of Isaac, Garet, and their allies as they seek to restore the world’s balance by releasing the sealed ancient alchemy.
Story
After the events of Golden Sun, the world of Weyard is threatened by a new crisis: the ancient alchemical seals that keep the sun's power in balance are breaking. Isaac, Garet, and a new cast of heroes must travel across continents, awaken dormant Djinn, and stop the looming catastrophe before darkness engulfs the world.
Guide & Tips
• Follow the main storyline through all towns and dungeons, solving puzzles with Djinn abilities. • Collect all Djinn to unlock powerful Psynergy combos and the strongest class upgrades. • Use the “Djinn Summon” menu to experiment with element combinations – fire + wind = meteor, etc. • In the “Gourme” (Golems) puzzles, use the right Psynergy (e.g., Whirlwind) to move blocks. • Bosses are weak to specific elements; check the enemy’s element icon and switch Djinn accordingly. • Save often at the many save points; the game uses a single‑slot save system.

Trivia
• The game was originally released only in Japan and later received an English patch via fan translation. • It uses the same “Djinn” system as the original, but introduces the “Summon” mechanic that allows two Djinn to be used simultaneously for combo attacks. • The soundtrack was composed by Motoi Sakuraba, who also scored the original Golden Sun. • The in‑game weather effects (rain, snow) were optional graphical features that could be toggled on the Game Boy Color’s hardware.
