About This Game
Wind Valley II (Simplified) (Xin Teqi) is a side‑scrolling action‑adventure game released for the Game Boy Color. It continues the story of Nausicaä and her quest to protect the Valley of the Wind from the spreading toxic jungle and warring factions.
Story
In a post‑apocalyptic world where a toxic jungle threatens humanity, the young princess Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind strives to understand the mysterious creatures and restore balance. Wind Valley II follows her journey as she battles hostile tribes, giant insects, and the spreading spores, hoping to find a peaceful coexistence between humans and nature.
Guide & Tips
• Use the D‑pad to move Nausicaä left/right and to aim her glider when airborne. • Press the A button to jump or to activate the glider for short flights. • Use the B button to swing your sword or to fire your gun when equipped. • Hold Down + A to perform a downward stab that can break certain blocks. • Collect power‑ups scattered throughout each stage to restore health or gain temporary invincibility. • Pay attention to enemy patterns; many foes have predictable attack cycles that can be exploited for easy hits. • Save your progress at the end of each level using the password system.
