About This Game
Romance of the Three Kingdoms V is a turn-based strategy game set during the chaotic late Eastern Han dynasty and Three Kingdoms period of China. Players assume the role of a warlord, managing territories, diplomacy, warfare, and internal affairs to unify the land.
Story
Set in the tumultuous years following the collapse of the Han dynasty, the game depicts the struggle among warlords such as Cao Cao, Liu Bei, and Sun Quan as they vie for control of China. Players rewrite history by forging alliances, battling rivals, and managing the affairs of their own domain.
Guide & Tips
Begin by selecting a scenario and your starting faction. Use the D-pad to navigate menus and the A button to confirm choices. Manage your cities by constructing facilities, recruiting troops, and developing agriculture and commerce. Engage in diplomacy through alliances, marriages, or declarations of war. When battle ensues, deploy units on the hex-based battlefield, considering terrain and unit strengths. Save frequently, as the game can span many in-game years.

Trivia
This Sega Genesis/Mega Drive version was released exclusively in Taiwan with a Traditional Chinese localization. It is the only mainline Romance of the Three Kingdoms title to appear on a Sega console.
