About This Game

Harvest Moon DS is a farming simulation RPG where players inherit a neglected farm and work to restore it by growing crops, raising animals, befriending townspeople, and participating in seasonal festivals.

Story

You play as a young protagonist who inherits a rundown farm from a relative in Forget‑Me‑Not Valley. With hard work, friendship, and a little help from the townsfolk, you aim to revive the farm, earn a steady income, and possibly find love and start a family.

Guide & Tips

Begin by clearing weeds and stones from your farmland. Plant fast‑growing crops like turnips or potatoes to earn early money. Upgrade your tools (hoe, watering can, axe) as soon as possible to improve efficiency. Befriend villagers by giving them gifts they like each day; check the gift preferences in the guidebook. Participate in festivals to win rare items and increase your friendship levels. Keep an eye on the weather forecast to plan watering and harvesting. Save often, and use the shipping box to sell produce for profit.

Harvest Moon DS was the first Harvest Moon title released for the Nintendo DS, debuting in Japan in 2005.
