About This Game
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is an action-adventure game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64. Released in 1998, it follows the young hero Link as he travels through time to stop the evil king Ganondorf from obtaining the Triforce and conquering Hyrule.
Story
Long ago, the goddess Din, Nayru, and Farore created the world of Hyrule and left behind the Triforce, a golden relic embodying Power, Wisdom, and Courage. The evil Gerudo king Ganondorf seeks to claim the Triforce to dominate the realm. The Hylian Royal Family entrusts the young hero Link, a Kokiri boy without a fairy, with the task of stopping Ganondorf. Guided by the Princess Zelda and the mysterious Sheikah, Link travels through time, gathering the three Spiritual Stones to draw the Master Sword and seal his spirit for seven years. Upon awakening, he must awaken the sages of each temple, defeat Ganondorf's forces, and ultimately seal the Dark Lord within the Sacred Realm.
Guide & Tips
Begin in Kokiri Forest, obtain the Kokiri Sword and Shield, then proceed to the Lost Woods to meet Saria. After acquiring the Fairy Ocarina, enter Hyrule Castle, meet Princess Zelda, and learn of Ganondorf's threat. Complete the three Spiritual Stones quests in the Forest, Fire, and Water Temples to gain access to the Temple of Time. Draw the Master Sword, seal yourselves in the Sacred Realm for seven years, then awaken as adult Link to defeat Ganondorf's forces across the five Temples and finally Ganon's Castle. Use the Ocarina to play learned songs for teleportation, time changes, and summoning assistance.
