Story
Zool, a ninja from the Nth dimension, is transported to Earth after his home dimension is invaded by the evil Krool. To restore his realm, Zool must recover six lost power crystals scattered across bizarre landscapes, defeating Krool’s minions and ultimately confronting Krool himself.
Guide & Tips
Progress through six themed worlds, each divided into multiple stages. Collect hearts for extra lives, gems for points, and special items to unlock Zool’s spin dash. Defeat the end-of-world bosses by learning their patterns and using jump attacks. Use the pause menu (Start) to check your inventory and map.
Controls
D‑Pad: Move left/right, crouch (down), look up (up). A: Jump. B: Attack/punch. Y: Spin dash (when special item is held). X: Use secondary item (if available). Start: Pause game. Select: Cycle inventory/trivia.
Trivia
Zool was created as a mascot for British developer Gremlin Graphics to rival Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog. The SNES version includes two exclusive bonus stages not found in the Genesis release and features a rearranged soundtrack by composer Allister Brimble.
