About This Game
A turn-based RPG released for the NES by Hengge Electronic, featuring Sun Wukong (the Monkey King) as the protagonist. Players journey through mystical lands inspired by the classic Chinese tale Journey to the West, battling demons, collecting equipment, and unlocking new abilities.
Story
The heavens have fallen into chaos as demonic forces rise from the underworld, threatening to overtake the mortal realm. Sun Wukong, the legendary Monkey King, is summoned by the Jade Emperor to restore balance. Armed with his magical staff and unrivaled martial arts, Wukong embarks on a perilous quest across ancient China, seeking the sacred scrolls that can seal the darkness and reunite the three realms.
Guide & Tips
Begin by talking to villagers in the first town to receive quests and basic equipment. Use the overworld map to travel between towns, dungeons, and hidden caves. In battles, choose 'Attack' for normal strikes, 'Skill' to use learned abilities (which consume MP), and 'Item' to heal or buff. Save frequently at inns to avoid losing progress. Level up by gaining XP from defeated enemies; higher levels unlock stronger skills and increase stats.
