About This Game
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III is a side-scrolling action game for the NES where the four turtles travel back in time to feudal Japan to rescue April O'Neil from the evil Lord Norinaga and his samurai army.
Story
After defeating Shredder in New York, the Turtles discover a mysterious scepter that opens a time portal. April O'Neil is kidnapped by the evil Lord Norinaga, who plans to use the scepter to conquer feudal Japan. The Turtles follow her through the portal to 16th-century Japan, where they must battle Norinaga's samurai forces, rescue April, and return the scepter to restore the timeline.
Guide & Tips
Use the D-Pad to move your turtle left/right and to climb ladders. Press A to jump and B to attack or use the currently equipped weapon. Press Start to pause the game and access the menu. Press Select to switch between the four turtles, each with their own unique weapon and abilities. Collect pizza slices to restore health, and gather special items (shurikens, grenades, etc.) to unleash powerful attacks. Defeat enemies and bosses to progress through the six stages, and use the password system to continue from where you left off.
