About This Game
Pocket Monster Green – Leaf Edition is an unofficial Chinese hack of the original Pokémon Red/Green for the NES, released by 恒格电子. It features a new storyline, altered maps, and a “Leaf” version of the starter Pokémon.
Story
Set in the Kanto region, the Leaf Edition follows a young trainer who discovers a mysterious “leaf” seed that alters the evolution line of the classic starters. As the player journeys, new NPCs and events reveal a hidden ecological threat that only the leaf‑type Pokémon can resolve.
Guide & Tips
1. Start by choosing the Leaf‑type starter (Bulbasaur‑like). 2. Follow the altered route to the first gym in Pewter City. 3. Use the overworld map (press SELECT) to view your current objectives. 4. Stock up on Potions and Antidotes before the Viridian Forest. 5. Defeat the Elite Four by exploiting the "Boost Level" glitch: after each battle, press START then quickly press A to gain an extra 2‑point stat boost. 6. Save frequently with SELECT+START.
Controls
NES Controller – D‑Pad: Move character; A: Confirm/Attack; B: Cancel/Run; SELECT: Open map or inventory; START: Pause/Save.
