Chinese Paladin (仙剑奇侠传) is a landmark Taiwanese role-playing game released in 1995. It follows the adventures of Li Xiaoyao, a young innkeeper who becomes involved in a quest to save the world from demonic threats, blending Chinese mythology with a compelling narrative.
Story
Li Xiaoyao, a carefree innkeeper's son, meets Zhao Ling'er, a mysterious girl from the Nüwa tribe. Together they embark on a journey to seal the demon king and uncover the truth about their destinies, encountering friends, foes, and ancient legends along the way.
